Summary of suits and radios: After leaving the battery of suit N 10 to charge all night the voltage measured 12.6 V with the fan off and again dropped to 8.6 V with the fan on. The battery was changed for a new one as discussed yesterday. The new battery was measured before the first charge at 12.7 V with only a 0.2 V drop with the fan on. After 30 min charging it got to 13.5 V, measuring it after 1 h resulted in the same value, so the suit was disconnected and turned on. As soon as it was turned on, the voltage went down from 13.2 V to 12.6 V over the course of 1 min. 4 measurements were taken at 15 min intervals; it remained at 12.3 V. The last measurement was taken 2 hs after turn on, reading 12.2 V. We conclude from this test that the new battery works as expected. The suit is now off and charging along with the others.
